Meet Our Family

We’re the Hill family: Spencer, Bailey, and our children, Quinn, Frankie, and Barrett. In 2025, the Lord graciously opened the door for us to become the stewards of this 40-acre farm in Burgaw, North Carolina, and we have seen His hand in every part of the journey.

This move was not something we would have planned for ourselves. Leaving our home out West felt unexpected, but the Lord made it clear that He was calling our family here. What began as a step of faith has become a place of deep gratitude, purpose, and renewed vision for the life we believe God is building.

Hard work, stewardship, and life close to the land have always been part of our story. Bailey grew up on a hay farm in eastern Oregon, and Spencer has spent more than 20 years in underground construction. Those experiences shaped in us a deep respect for honest labor, caring well for what God has entrusted to us, and building something that can serve others for generations to come.

Today, we grow blueberries and are working toward organic certification, alongside a large community garden, seasonal pumpkins, and cut flowers. Our heart is to create a farm experience that is beautiful, welcoming, and full of life, a place where families can gather, children can run, and people can slow down long enough to enjoy the goodness of God in a simple and meaningful way.

We have fallen in love with Burgaw and the people here. There is something special about this community, and we feel honored to put down roots in a place where neighbors still care for one another. We believe this farm is meant to be more than a business. We believe it is meant to be a place of blessing, generosity, and hospitality, a place where food is grown, community is strengthened, and people are reminded of the Lord’s faithfulness.

Our prayer is that this farm would be a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. A place for gathering, celebrating, and serving others. A place where lasting memories are made, needs are met, and the presence of the Lord is felt in a way that is real and life-giving.
