Bluebird Farm is a family-run u-pick farm in Burgaw, North Carolina, where fresh harvests, open land, and meaningful gatherings bring people closer to the beauty of farm life.
From blueberries, flowers, and fall pumpkins to fishing, walking trails, livestock, and future offerings of fresh farm goods, we exist to cultivate connection, agricultural education, and a deeper sense of home.
Fresh Experiences All Year Round
Bluebird Family Farms is a place to slow down, get outside, and enjoy the simple goodness of life together. With year-round experiences like lake fishing, farmers’ markets, prayer nights, and more, it offers families and friends an affordable, memorable way to make time for what matters most while soaking in the beauty of God’s creation.
LAKE FISHING
Cast a line and enjoy a day at the pond. Open weekends year-round, our stocked 1-acre pond is perfect for first-time anglers and seasoned fishermen alike, with Bluegill, Crappie, Bass, and Catfish ready to catch.
No fishing license required. Fish for $12 per hour, catch and release. Worms and tackle are available for purchase, and you can bring your own pole or rent one on site. Life jackets are required for children under 8 and are available upon request.
FARMERS MARKETS
Join us each month for our farmers market on the lawn, where you’ll find local favorites, fresh seasonal goods, handmade items, and a welcoming atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. It’s the perfect way to spend time outdoors, support small businesses, and enjoy the best of what our local community has to offer. Interested in becoming a vendor? We’d love to hear from you.
